About ArkNatura

Earth is where we stand on. Empowering the relationship with true natural oneself and wild natural rhythms seems to be more needed than ever. ArkNatura’s aim is to explore ways to remember nature’s cycles, cultural roots, and body’s balance.

To that scope, we offer activities/experiences like: urban and rural nature-based workshops for adults and children, food & cultural heritage activities like food tastings and plants walks, shared meals, cooking classes, farm visits, gastrobotany activities and much more.

Herbalism is at the heart of ArkNatura’s story. Herbs are living organisms that provide their wisdom towards healing of human and animals as well as landscape itself. Using herbs to support one’s body harmony is an art that incorporates credibility, knowledge, intuition, method, scientific care, systemic thinking and empathy in its practice. Giving herbal advice based on these notions is my way of supporting a person’s internal environmental conditions (body imbalances).

About Hara

Hi, I am Hara! I love bringing people together and share experiences around food, nature and culture!

Having studied Agriculture Science (BSc) & Environmental Management (MSc), I have been engaged for over a decade in the fields of food quality, organic product inspection and certification, agroecology and community-supported agriculture networks.

My passion is herbalism. From folk uses to deep nature awareness, herbalism acts to me as a tool to empirically observe the interaction between inner and outer nature. I am communicating these interconnections into experiential workshops using participatory approaches, and offer consulting on how to approach the body’s balance in an holistic way with herbs.

For the past years I am continually educating myself. My advanced diploma studies in Professional Herbalism combine Eastern and Western herbal approaches, while other courses include Intuitive Herbalism, TCM practical assessment, vagal toning, healing kitchen medicine, fertility course, sensory processing sensitivity-focused course.

I see great potential in restoring balance to people’s lives through attuning to nature and our inner authenticity. My view of food, herbs and natural or culinary heritage is that all bear a common authentic ground. ArkNatura came when i decided to share my passion through alive shared experiences!
